Overview

Automic User Essentials is the foundational training course from Tricise University for anyone new to Broadcom Automic Automation. Across 4 focused days, participants move from zero Automic knowledge to confidently creating objects, running jobs, orchestrating workflows and scheduling automated processes in a real Automic environment. The course is delivered entirely remotely — either as trainer-led live sessions with Q&A and group exercises, or as self-paced eLearning — so learners can pick the format that fits their schedule and learning style.

The Automic User Essentials course is deliberately structured around the guiding principle: “If you want to use Automic, you need to know how the objects work.” That means hands-on time with the Automic Web Interface, the object model, and every object type a typical user will touch in daily operations — from login and connection objects, to jobs, workflows, schedules, events, file transfers and notifications. By the end of the course, participants have built and executed their own workflow from scratch and understand how the Automation Engine coordinates the full picture. This course was previously known as Automic User Fundamentals and has been updated and rebranded as Automic User Essentials.
