The V26 Update & News module for Operators builds on the Automic Operator Essentials and walks operators through the most important changes for daily monitoring introduced with Broadcom Automic Automation V26, the convergence release that brings the former SaaS-only features to on-premises and SaaS customers alike. Participants explore the refreshed Automic Web Interface with its new browser baseline, the connection color that now fills the entire menu bar and the new task status colors, as well as the enhanced Workflow Monitor with five traffic lights, task property icons, per-task progress bars, new filter criteria and the separate Time and Dependencies tabs.

The module introduces the Intelligent Assistant hub with the Automation Assistant and its context-sensitive predefined prompts, Analyze Report and Analyze Execution, actions via MCP and the token usage pie chart, plus the AI Filter Assistant for natural-language filtering of the Tasks, Agents and SLO lists. Operators also learn how to monitor and read AI Jobs and Python Jobs, including the new PIP report, and how the automatic authentication of new Agents shows up in the Agents list. The deprecation of the RA REST and RA FTP Agents and the end-of-support pre-announcements for AIX and DB2 complete the picture. The module follows the principle “learn the concept, see it applied in a use case, try it yourself in an exercise” — with five practical use cases and five hands-on exercises you can run in your own environment.

Builds on Automic Operator Essentials. Prior operational experience with Automic Automation is required — this is not an entry-level course. Participants should be comfortable with the Process Monitoring and Administration perspectives, the Tasks list, the Workflow Monitor, Job reports and the Agents list. A basic understanding of Large Language Models and prompting is helpful but not mandatory. A supported browser (Chrome 138+, Edge 138+, Firefox 140+ or Safari 18.5+) is recommended for the exercises.

Participants read the refreshed AWI with confidence — the connection color as a production safety signal, the new task status colors across Workflow Monitor, Tasks list, Dashboards and Widgets, and the five traffic lights — before they need them under incident pressure.
Triage faster with the Workflow Monitor and AI
Attendees combine traffic lights, task property icons and per-task progress bars to read a Workflow without opening a single Properties pane, and use the Automation Assistant, Analyze Report and the AI Filter Assistant to scope hundreds of tasks in plain language.
Handle the new object types and plan the change window
After the module, operators monitor AI Jobs and Python Jobs like any other task, check the PIP report before the Job report, read Agent authentication status in the Agents list, and know which deprecations to track for the next upgrade cycle.
