A Proven Process for Seamless Implementations & Updates
Implementation & Updates with Tricise
We approach every implementation and update project with a clear and structured process, ensuring a seamless experience for our customers. With ready-to-use tools, reusable templates, and adaptable workflows, we cover nearly all customer configurations—regardless of complexity or industry. All decisions, whether to upgrade existing systems or set up parallel installations, are guided by the specific needs of the environment and the customer’s long-term automation strategy. Our team ensures that all Automic components, including AWI, agents, and engines, are updated efficiently and in sync. This holistic approach reduces downtime, minimizes risks, and ensures that critical business processes continue without disruption.
A Structured Four-Phase Approach
The update and implementation process is divided into four proven phases: Planning, Preparation, Migration, and Go Live. Each phase has a clearly defined goal and methodology to reduce risks and create transparency for all stakeholders.
Phase 1: Planning
In the planning phase, we analyze the customer’s current automation landscape, evaluate dependencies, and determine scope and objectives. Together with stakeholders, we identify potential risks, prioritize key use cases, and define the overall project vision. This early step ensures that the project starts on solid ground, with expectations clearly aligned between business and IT.
Phase 2: Preparation
The preparation phase translates the planning results into concrete activities. Our consultants design the target architecture, configure test environments, and prepare technical prerequisites. This includes license checks, capacity planning, and interface validations. By preparing thoroughly, we make sure that the migration can be executed with minimal disruption. Customers receive a detailed roadmap including milestones, resource allocations, and fallback strategies.
Phase 3: Migration
During migration, the system update or change is performed. Our experts leverage automation-driven migration scripts, tested templates, and proven methodologies to ensure accuracy and speed. Depending on customer requirements, this can be a direct system upgrade or a parallel installation with gradual cutover. In both cases, Tricise ensures that all Automic Automation components are upgraded in sync, minimizing downtime and safeguarding business continuity.
Phase 4: Go Live
The go-live phase marks the transition to production. After thorough validation and final checks, the system is switched to the new environment. Tricise experts closely monitor stability, performance, and integrations to ensure smooth operations. Customers benefit from dedicated support during this phase, enabling fast resolution of issues and a stable handover into business-as-usual operations.
Post-Update Training for Teams
To maximize the benefits of each update, we provide post-update training sessions tailored to customer teams. These are available via the Tricise University. Training ensures that your teams can effectively use the Automic Automation platform, leverage the latest features, and sustain long-term automation success within your organization.
Optional Monitoring & On-Call Services
While monitoring is typically handled by customers, we offer optional on-call services that provide an extra layer of assurance during critical updates or migrations. These services include proactive issue resolution, 24/7 expert availability, and real-time monitoring to detect and resolve issues before they can impact production. This option is particularly valuable for customers operating in highly regulated or business-critical industries where downtime is not acceptable.
Collaboration & Transparency
Our entire approach is built on collaboration, transparency, and a deep understanding of automation processes. We involve customer teams in every step, providing clear communication and documentation to ensure alignment and trust. With Tricise as your partner, implementation and update projects become efficient, reliable, and customized to achieve long-term success. Together, we create future-ready automation environments powered by Broadcom technology and Automic Automation.
