Social Responsibility at Tricise is more than just a headline – it’s a guiding principle we actively live by.
We believe that real success is not only measured by business achievements, but also by the positive impact
we create beyond our professional responsibilities. Together with our colleagues from the
Capture team, we are committed to meaningful, long-term engagement by supporting children
who face life with severe challenges from the very beginning.
Our heartfelt commitment: helping butterfly children
One cause that has been especially important to us over the past several years is our support
for the Butterfly Children Foundation (DEBRA) – an organization that helps children living
with Epidermolysis bullosa (EB), a rare and incurable genetic skin condition. These children
are often called “butterfly children” because their skin is as delicate as a butterfly’s wing. Even the
slightest touch, friction from clothing, or everyday movements can lead to painful wounds, open blisters,
and infections.
A life full of challenges
Living with EB requires continuous medical treatment, daily wound care, and enormous strength – not only
from the children themselves but also from their families. The condition often affects every aspect of
daily life and places a huge emotional and financial burden on everyone involved. At present, there is
no cure – only the possibility of easing pain and improving quality of life through specialized care
and support.
Together for DEBRA
That’s why we, at Tricise, in close collaboration with the Capture team,
have chosen to support DEBRA’s mission. This partnership is not based on seasonal campaigns or one-time
donations, but on an ongoing commitment to make a difference. DEBRA provides medical supplies, supports
caregivers, funds cutting-edge research, and – perhaps most importantly – offers community and hope to
families living with EB.
Pedaling for a purpose
For several years now, our team has proudly participated in the Bike for Butterfly Children charity event, held during the World Games of Mountainbiking in Saalbach-Hinterglemm. Each September, our joint Tricise and Capture team takes to the trails—not just for sport, but to raise funds and awareness for children living with EB.
Together with nearly 200 athletes from around the world, we embrace this meaningful tradition year after year. The weekend is always filled with team spirit, mountain air, and shared purpose—along with sunshine, the occasional rain, and maybe even a rainbow or two—as we ride to support DEBRA’s mission.
One team, one goal
We are proud to see how our colleagues at Tricise and Capture have embraced this mission with the same passion and
dedication. Across teams and countries, we stand united in our belief that business can and should be a
force for good – and that true impact is measured by the lives we touch, not just the numbers we report.
Acting together – with heart
This is what Social Responsibility at Tricise means to us: committing to long-term partnerships, acting
with heart, and doing our part to support those who need it most. We may not be able to solve every
challenge, but we can choose to act where it matters – and we choose to act together.
