Automic V26 Is Coming – What Can You Do Now to Prepare?
With the upcoming release of Automic V26, many organizations are asking an important question:
What should we do now to prepare?
A new major version affects far more than just software binaries —
it impacts operations, administration, user workflows, security concepts, and long-term platform strategy.
According to Broadcom’s current roadmap, the planned release window for Automic V26 is the first half of 2026. That makes now the right time to prepare — strategically, technically, and organizationally.
At Tricise, we are already deeply engaged with Automic V26. As an active participant in the Automic V26 Validation Program, we are working hands-on with the new version at an early stage, validating features, behaviors, and upgrade paths together with Broadcom. This allows us to prepare our customers early — not react after release.
Early Insights Through the Automic V26 Validation Program
Being part of the official validation program means that Tricise is already testing Automic V26 in realistic enterprise scenarios. We analyze functional changes, administrative behavior, upgrade implications, and operational impacts across typical Automic landscapes.
This early access enables us to:
- Identify relevant changes for users and administrators before general availability
- Assess upgrade risks and mitigation strategies
- Prepare structured update and migration approaches
- Align training, documentation, and enablement with real V26 behavior
Our goal is clear: when Automic V26 becomes generally available, our customers should already understand what to expect — technically, operationally, and organizationally.
Two New Courses Focused on Automic V26
As part of the preparation strategy, Tricise will introduce two new dedicated update courses that focus specifically on Automic V26 and clearly separate the perspectives of users and administrators.
Automic User V26 Update & News is designed for the end-user perspective. The course highlights relevant changes in daily usage, functional behavior, and user-facing enhancements introduced with V26. It helps users understand what has changed, what remains familiar, and how to work confidently with the new version.
Automic Administrator V26 Update & News focuses on the administrator perspective. It covers technical and operational changes, configuration aspects, system behavior adjustments, and administration-relevant updates. The course supports admins in evaluating impact, preparing environments, and operating Automic V26 in a stable and secure way.
Both courses will be offered as trainer-led sessions as well as on-demand video courses. This allows organizations to choose between interactive live training and flexible self-paced learning — or combine both formats.
Updating Existing Training Paths to V26
In parallel to the new V26 update courses, Tricise is working on V26 versions of the existing Automic training courses. This ensures that established learning paths remain fully aligned with the latest Automic release.
Existing courses will be reviewed and updated where required to reflect changes introduced with Automic V26 — including updated behavior, interfaces, and revised best practices from both the user and administrator perspective.
Automic V26 Demo Labs – Coming Soon
Hands-on experience is a critical part of preparation. As soon as it is technically and contractually possible, Tricise will provide Automic V26 Demo Labs.
These labs will allow customers to explore the new version in a safe, isolated environment — testing workflows, administration tasks, and configuration changes without risk to production systems. The labs will be available for demos, evaluations, and enablement scenarios.
New Video Series: Short, Focused V26 Insights
In addition to formal training, Tricise will launch a dedicated Automic V26 video series. These short videos will provide compact, regularly published insights into new functions, changes compared to previous versions, and topics that are particularly relevant for daily operations.
The videos are designed to be easy to consume and highly practical — ideal for staying up to date without investing large amounts of time. They will be published on:
You are welcome to follow these channels already now to make sure you don’t miss upcoming V26 insights, previews, and updates.
Preparing the System: Updates and Environment Readiness
Preparation for Automic V26 is not limited to knowledge transfer. System readiness plays an equally important role. That includes environment updates, configuration reviews, and upgrade planning.
Tricise supports customers with structured Automic environment updates, from planning and preparation to execution and validation. If you want to discuss your current environment and V26 readiness, you can request an unbinding consultation here:
