Broadcom Is Leader in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant

Gartner once again recognises Broadcom’s Portfolio Management solutions as leaders in the field of strategic portfolio management technology. Consulting firm Gartner’s “Magic Quadrant” once again places ValueOps, Clarity and Rally solutions in the leader quadrant of its annual report. Gartner has once again named Broadcom as a leader in this category. The fact is that Broadcom boasts two leading EAP solutions: Rally and Clarity. Thanks to a simple integration, these tools work side-by-side to provide an enterprise-scale solution supported by an extensive selection of planning and management features. In tandem, the tools offer next-level support for the SAFe agile framework that garners praise within the magic quadrant report. Similar acclaim is given to the market strategy and global partnerships established by the Broadcom team.

“Strategic portfolio management technology helps portfolio managers ensure alignment and continuous adaptation of strategy and execution throughout the enterprise. By 2025, 70% of digital investments will not achieve the expected business results due to the absence of a strategic portfolio management (SPM) approach.”

The study considers Broadcom as “a leader in supporting the progression of digital objectives in a dynamic business environment”. Among its virtues, the following stand out:

  • Clarity‘s user interface allows clients to navigate through a number of different portfolio views, sort and aggregate data and insights across a number of defined portfolio elements, and perform dynamic scenario analysis and modelling to manage investments at scale.
  • Broadcom’s marketing approach leverages Clarity’s user base, recognising that SPM’s new business and renewals come primarily from expanding existing relationships with its Clarity customers. This includes engaging its user groups and communities with its deployment of events, as well as education delivered through various methods and platforms, promoting the value of SPM and Clarity’s ability to help deliver valuable results.
  • Broadcom’s “Clarity for EA” module assigns application and asset dependencies to business capabilities and portfolios of work, enabling customers to uncover portfolio risks, dependencies and hidden business costs linked to strategic portfolios created in Clarity.
